Norway-based heavy metal project THOMAS CARLSEN’S TRANSMISSION is glad to announce that its first full-length is entitled “A Brave Horizon” and it will be released on July 14 via RFL Entertainment. “A Brave Horizon” follows the 2021 debut EP “Redemption” which led to a number of positive reviews from the underground scene.
THOMAS CARLSEN’S TRANSMISSION is the project created by the multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Thomas Carlsen, with 5 incredible vocalists from around the world. The sound is rooted in the rock and metal of the 80s, inspired by bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Dokken. From the beginning, you will notice that this is Top Class Heavy Metal: mature songwriting, powerful vocals, well-composed solos and tasteful riffs are the main elements of this album - ideal not only for heavy metal fans, but also for people who like good music in general.
Thomas Carlsen stated:
“These songs continue building on what I started with my debut EP, “Redemption”; some tracks on the heavier, more riff-based side and some on the more melodic, toned-down side. There are also new elements in the music; like a couple of longer, progressive pieces, that I’m sure will please most metal fans. All in all, I feel this is a strong follow-up to my EP that showcases more of what I am capable of as a player and songwriter.”

Sebastian Palma (BLIZZARD HUNTER ) sings on "Crownless" and "Climbing the Heights"
