The all-female collaborative metal project CHAOS RISING is proud to announce that its debut album “The Singles” will be released on October 14!
“The Singles” is a compilation of all the songs created and performed by this project - founded in 2019 by the French multi-instrumentalist Stéphanie Nolf - that brings together the best female metal musicians from across the globe. It consists of a double album featuring 20 tracks for over 80 minutes playing time, divided into two different sides - “For the Head” and “For the Heart” - portraying the brutal and the melodic side of the project. Thanks to a successful crowdfunding campaign, “The Singles” will be available as a limited edition digipak on the project’s Bandcamp page, and via all major digital platforms.
Enclosed you can see the artwork created by Tina Gruschwitz (bass, Demorphed). She designed the project’s logo and also came up with the concept for the cover art. The goal was to show a woman, but not a typical half-naked heavy metal chick, rather a powerful yet calm face that embedded in some kind of stellar space. Space is also a place of chaos and very different planets, as is their international project with all the different people and styles of metal.
“The Singles” was mixed and mastered by Stéphanie Nolf. Here you can watch two videos for the tracks “Thrive” and “No Weakness”. If you like the tunes, pre-order your copy at https://chaosrising.bandcamp.com/album/the-singles
