SCURÌU: The debut EP “Wilhelmina” is available for pre-order!

On July 15 the debut EP by the Artisan of doom metal SCURÌU, entitled “Wilhelmina”, will see the light. 5 tracks with an authentic doom/gothic flavour will be available for you in the old CDR format and on the main digital platforms.

From a dark meander illuminated by a flickering light, Omar Jarid (the project mastermind), invites you to pre-order your copy of the album – mastered on CDR, packed and shipped by Jarid himself.

The songwriting of “Wilhelmina” is strongly influenced by raw black metal as by the soundtracks of old Italian horror movies. This work, which in some of its points cites Beethoven's famous "Moonlight Sonata" and the traditional Judeo-Spanish song "La Prima Vez", tells the story of a man who falls in love with the woman who sadly discovers she is a vampire thirsty for blood.

The project was carried out entirely in-house, from its conception and writing to the processing of the final product. A non-casual choice that betrays the desire to propose an artisanal product through a DIY ethic.

Enclosed you can see the album cover - with Wilhelmina portrait drawn by Valentina “Moon Child” Ghirardi and background by Omar Jarid.

This is the tracklist of “Wilhelmina”:

1. Wilhelmina I (2:22)

2. Wilhelmina II (8:10)

3. Wilhelmina III (7:49)

4. Wilhelmina IV (7:11)

5. Wilhelmina V (1:09)
