The project ALPHA LYRÆ is teasing fans of Melodic Death/Doom Metal with the song “H.I.”, taken from the band’s self-titled debut album. The album will be released independently on March 22nd as digipak and on the main digital streaming platforms.

The intro of “H.I.” starts with a spiritual tone and sets the mood for the album’s most ethereal song. Even after all the instruments enter the musical landscape, the song keeps the spiritual tone and even expands on it with the introduction of clean vocals. One can feel the significance of every note that’s being played because of the deliberate and steadfast playing style. The lyrics encourage listeners to “evade the artificial ways” and to “embrace the chaos to be free”. The melancholic eastern melodies near the end instantly transport the listener to a simpler and yet archaic age then bring them crashing back down to modern reality.
