International Thrash Metal Force SANDFINGER To Release New EP “Minus Illusion” on May 2nd; Watch the Visualizer Video for “It Was Nothing”!

International thrashers SANDFINGER are excited to announce that their new EP, entitled “Minus Illusion,” will be released on May 2nd. Available as CD and digital, “Minus Illusion” consists of 6 tracks for over 21 minutes of musical experience and it is the ideal listening for those loving the mix of thrash, death/thrash, and groove metal!

SANDFINGER is an international thrash metal project formed by guitarist Markus Öhrlich. Foundations were laid when in 2023 he sent a couple of songs to ANNIHILATOR drummer Fabio Alessandrini. Following, Öhrlich again teamed up with guitarist Vitaliy Kozubenko, with whom he had cooperated on 2 albums and an EP for alternative thrashers Konvolted. Attempting to make SANDFINGER’s sound different while maintaining the genre, Öhrlich concentrated on classic style in songwriting, leaving out groove and alternative influences, whilst Kozubenko settled his solos in the harmonic and polyphonic fields of the early 90s. Markedly different for sure it became with the addition of Death Metal singer Icanbefree and the choice to have the lyrics in his native tongue Japanese.
