The Canadian guitar shredder MORGAN REID has released the new single “Goliath Online”, alongside with a new music video. The song is taken from the album “Terran” set to be released later this year.

It will be crystal clear to anyone who will watch the video, that MORGAN REID has pushed himself to the limit, creating not only a metal song, but an authentic work of Art. Chugging riffs, dark atmospheres and stunning dance choreographies show that MORGAN REID is not only a great guitar player, but an all-round Artist.

Watch the video of “Goliath Online”!

“Goliath Online” is a song, dance film, and music video about the awakening of a female cyborg. Her brutal creation, a body dismembered and repurposed by nanobots on the production line towards war. The inner struggle with her singular purpose, destruction. A mechanical existence overshadows her boiling human emotion, yet her tech boasts an ever-soaring lust for battle. How does she feel trapped inside this cold mechanical shell? Does the heat of battle bring not joy? This satire is about the glorification of war and violence in our society.

“Goliath Online” has been performed, written, produced, and mixed by Morgan Reid, mastered by Alan Sacha Laskow. Additional drum performance by Florian Schwalbe. The artwork is created by Morgan Reid using an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Artist Algorithm called “Midjourney”. Photo by Ekaterina Gorbacheva. Choreography and dance: Tine Reid, Morgan Reid and Isabelle Schramm.

The artist has been supported by Initiative Musik gGmbH with project funds from the Federal German Government Commissioner for Culture and Media.
