ORDEATHRAL is a symphonic black metal band formed in 2014 after members of Darkness Embrace (2009–2013) decided to disband their previous group. Their debut album, “A Cell Made of Chalk, Coal and Blood” - a ten-track record exploring various forms of madness and chaos - was released in 2016.
Their second album, “Medea,” offers a powerful, contemporary reinterpretation of the Medea myth, portraying the sorceress as both the executioner and the victim of her own destiny. Enhanced by imposing orchestrations from Studio Henosis, and a narrative told entirely in verse, the myth comes to life.
