Atmospheric Death Doom Metal Band CONCRETE GHOSTS Faces A World Shrouded In Rot In New Video for “Stillborn World”; Pre-Order of New Album “Echoes of The Dead World” Available! — Concrete Ghosts

In the past weeks, the Finnish atmospheric death doom metal four-piece CONCRETE GHOSTS has announced their new full-length “Echoes of The Dead World,” slated for release on November 13th via Fetzner Death Records.

After sharing a lyric video for the song “Concrete Skin,” the band teases a new song from the album, entitled “Stillborn World,” accompanied by a music video available here:

The video of "Stillborn World" takes us on a walk with the protagonist through the meanders of a gray city, captured at dawn. Yet, although dawn symbolizes rebirth, for CONCRETE GHOSTS, this rebirth does not exist.

Empty shadows, devoured bodies... the city lives on infinite cycles of death, where hope is only a "hollow victory."

The thematic landscape of CONCRETE GHOSTS’s new record is a "concrete coffin" filled with "ashen whispers" and "nauseating chemical fumes of false hope". Heavily inspired by the melodic intensity of the late-90s metal underground, the production offers a bleak, chromatic view of a world whose spirit is failing in real-time.
