Breaking Death Metal Bands

Between September 2023 and March 2024 we promoted two stunning blackened death metal albums released by the label Gruesome Records: "Beyond Frozen Heights" by Huronian and "Homo Homini Lupus" by Keres.
Huronian's "Beyond Frozen Heights" got a number of decent reviews. The most notable ones are 8.5/10 by Dead Rhetoric ("A tidy five-track offering that creates a swirling storm of chaos in just over fourteen minutes, you can expect stunning energy from top to bottom. These musicians pushing the parameters of their abilities as artists"), 80/100 by Grizzly Butts and other awesome praises around (Tempi Dispari said that the record is one "that once started cannot be stopped. And for the music and for the involvement. Speed, power, technical mastery, awareness of the result. These are all characteristics that can be seen in every groove, in every passage", while No Clean Singing wrote: "Beyond Frozen Heights really is a relentlessly exhilarating and thoroughly breathtaking EP, a great combination of ferocious energy, technical virtuosity, and evocative melody.")
"Homo Homini Lupus" by Keres made reviewers even more excited. The important Angry Metal Guy, who granted a 5 out of 5 to the record, described it so: "Fun, gnarly, and kind of addictive with its endless, earwormy bounce and flow, as well as its vicious, mean spirit. For these reasons it’s no surprise that it’s also become a solid gym companion. I hope we don’t have to wait eight more years for the next one, because if things continue like this, Keres are set to release a stone-cold banger of a sophomore." Ever-Metal (9/10) said: “Homo Homini Lupus” is a juggernaut of an album and one that any self-respecting fan of the darker side of Metal needs to get their hands on! This is a statement of intent and should be considered a warning sign to the heavyweights of the industry; there’s a new contender and challenger to the throne. Keres." while Metalnoise (8.5/10) declared it as a "Blackened Death Metal masterclass."
