Zurich’s Alternative/Grunge/Punk Band MARYCHAIN Reveals “Eclipse” Album Details; Watch The Video of “Resilience” feat. Yannick Lehmann (PALEFACE SWISS)!
Swiss alternative/grunge/punk band MARYCHAIN is proud to announce that their new album “Eclipse” will be released on the 4th of December via their own imprint MaryChain Media.
The new effort has been anticipated from the song “Resilience,” available as a music video as well as a digital single. The song sees the collaboration with Yannick Lehmann from PALEFACE SWISS!

“Eclipse” is an album about what happens when the light disappears. Its title serves as a metaphor for the moments in life when darkness temporarily overshadows everything else.
The songs approach these themes from different perspectives: some turn inward, confronting depression, suicidal thoughts, emotional exhaustion and the question of how to keep going when simply getting through another day becomes a struggle.
Others deal with toxic relationships, broken trust, manipulation and the scars people can leave behind.
Elsewhere, the focus shifts outward toward alienation, social criticism and the increasingly artificial nature of modern life.
Despite its darkness, “Eclipse” is not an album about giving up. Songs such as “Resilience” and “Lost in Silence” introduce another recurring idea: survival. Even at its lowest points, there is still a desire to breathe, to reach out, to be heard and to find a reason to continue. The album repeatedly moves between these two extremes: Darkness and Light, Despair and Hope, Collapse and Resilience.
That contrast is at the heart of the title. During an eclipse, the light has not disappeared forever. It is simply obscured. “Eclipse” captures that moment in between: when you cannot see the light anymore, but somewhere behind the darkness, it is still there.
