Heavy metal band IMAGO IMPERII has released a music video for the song “Warmonger,” taken from the album “Century,” released on February 20th via Metal Zone Italia. “Century” features 9 brand-new tracks for over 37 minutes of musical experience and it is available as CD and on the main digital streaming platforms.

Band’s singer Gwarner stated about “Warmonger”:

"Warmonger", the opening track of our new album “Century”, is about war and in particular about the process of dehumanization that can occur to the soldiers. I wrote this song thinking about German soldiers in WWII, but I think it is something that may happen even today to different soldiers in different wars (and unfortunately it's happening...)”

“Century,” the new album of Imago Imperii, is released more than four years after the previous “A Tale of Darkness and Hope.” Compared to the past, the album veers toward more traditional “old school” Heavy Metal sounds. New drummer Matt joined the band, bringing a fresh perspective that blended well with the original line-up made of Gwarner, Luke, and Mick. The lyrics of Gwarner are, as always, based on history, but this time focused more on 20th century and modern days. Isn't it a sign of the times?
