Modena’s alternative/groove metal force DEMETRA’S SCARS has released the new single “Fake Skin,” taken from the band’s upcoming album “Born Unbroken” out on June 19th on the main digital streaming services.

The band stated about the new song:
“Fake Skin” is a rejection of conformity and the blind acceptance of the stereotypes the masses desperately chase. It urges listeners to hold on to their independence and individuality, refusing to let a society obsessed with uniformity portray uniqueness as a flaw.”
The band’s upcoming effort “Born Unbroken” is an act of inner rebellion by those who refuse to be programmed. The album delves into the conflict between who we truly are and who others have tried to make us become. It’s a journey through ego, anger, and fear, leading to awakening.
Each track is a cry for freedom, a call to break down mental barriers and reconnect with your truest essence. Blending raw power with introspection, the band creates a soundscape where fury meets awareness. “Born Unbroken” isn’t just a title. It’s a declaration. We were born free. We were born whole. It’s time to remember. The revolution begins now.
DEMETRA’S SCARS was formed near Mirandola (Modena) in 2015. In 2017, they released their first single, “Your Only Escape,” followed by concerts supporting Jinjer and Infected Rain. In 2021, they released their self-titled EP, promoted with several live shows where they shared the stage with artists such as Genus Ordinis Dei and Jinjer again.
