HELLGUARD stated about the new song:
“Protest” was born out of frustration — not just with the world around us, but with the feeling of helplessness that often comes with it. This time there’s no singer, no lyrics — just raw emotion channeled through heavy riffs and screaming lead guitars that will take you on a journey that makes you feel the despair of oppression and the immense power that it can conceive. Every element of “Protest” was shaped by that inner struggle — aggressive, atmospheric, and emotionally heavy; not just a song, a scream without a voice. A rebellion in sound.”
HELLGUARD is a rising force in modern metal, hailing from the heart of Italy. Formed in the areas of Bologna and Ferrara, the band fuses the power and spirit of traditional heavy/power metal with a darker, more contemporary edge.
Produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Gianluca Ronco. Artwork, photo and logo by Hellguard.
