German Melodic Black Metal Act TOTENLEGION Shares The New Album “Einschlag”; Out Now As CD And Digital!

Zirndorf’s melodic black metal band TOTENLEGION has released their new album “Einschlag” on May 30th independently. Composed of 11 tracks for almost 50 minutes of musical experience, “Einschlag” is available as a jewel case and digital.

“Einschlag” is dedicated to the tragic horrors, loss, and trauma of World War I. German lyrics drive the narrative, paired with a bleak, uncompromising, yet groove-laden sound.

“The technical changes never overshadow the constant feeling of movement in the record, the intensity is sharp and complex, demanding, and uncompromising. As brutal as its subject matter, Totenlegion have delivered an album that is bleak and unforgiving, steadfast in its commitment to extremity and aggression.” (Metal-Roos)

Since 2012, the name TOTENLEGION has stood for melodic black metal with German lyrics. The band has experienced several line-up changes, but since the beginning of 2019, the core members have been in place.
