French Black Metal Band AZGAAL Reveals New Lyric Video for “The Bewitched Souls”; New Album “Divine Hitman” Out on August 28th via Fetzner Death Records!

French black metal one-man band AZGAAL is proud to release the lyric video of “The Bewitched Souls,” taken from the new album “Divine Hitman” that will be released on the 28th of August via Fetzner Death Records.
Composed of 10 tracks for over 54 minutes of musical experience, “Divine Hitman” is available as digipak, cassette, and digital.

AZGAAL continues his esoteric exploration with the new opus “Divine Hitman”. This musical work introduces the listener to new divine and occult entities, further expanding the band's occult universe. The title refers to the angel Daovith (from the Sefer Ha-Razim), the one being charged with punishing mankind. The album's various songs revolve around the influence of this occult force, which judges and punishes humanity for its transgressions. Listening to this opus immerses the audience in an atmosphere of divine judgment and wrath descending upon mankind.

About :
It all started in the early 2000s. AZGAAL, a French metal project, will record a «demo tape» which will not be released in broad daylight but which will lay the foundations of the genre. Led by Naïwyn, working in a long silence, making multiple compositions to refine the style, AZGAAL released his first EP «Solitude & Wisdom», in 2011 with Maltkross Label. This was followed by several productions, including «A Matter of Death», supported by Vrangsin (Carpathian Forest bass player) and his label «Misantrof ANTIRecords». During this first decade of work, a total of 9 productions were released. All of this work is now archived on the AZGAAL's Bandcamp page (in the backstage section).
A new day has dawned in 2022 with the release of «Apotheosis», an album with a very special meaning for Naïwyn. This album marks a turning point in the style and intention of the one man band. The occult and magical atmosphere becomes clearer and the imagery portrays the universe in which AZGAAL operates. This opens up an occult and esoteric musical world, which is now AZGAAL's signature. Naïwyn then continued on his own path and released several works, all available, inspired by this artistic direction.
In 2025, the musician will cross paths with Werna Wolf (French dungeon synth artist). Blending their styles, the two artists will produce "Holy Grail", an EP plunging us into the depths of a dark and epic world. Finally, it was the meeting with Fetzner Death Records that gave AZGAAL new impetus, supporting the project effort with the release of "Divine Hitman".
