Italian Metalcore Squad KEEP THE PROMISE Drops New Video “Okinawa Steel” Feat. GRAVERY’s Luca “Pigo” De Simone!
The metalcore band from Modena, KEEP THE PROMISE, has released a new video for the song “Okinawa Steel.” The track sees the collaboration with GRAVERY’s vocalist Luca “Pigo” De Simone.

The song is loosely based on the legendary Quentin Tarantino's movie “Kill Bill.” Since KEEP THE PROMISE always focused on revenge against evil and bloodthirsty people, the plot of this film perfectly embodies this message, with the added spectacular and fascinating element of martial arts and all the Eastern philosophy that permeates these ancient customs.
KEEP THE PROMISE is not a band for the faint hearted. While others may like to follow the latest trend or sing about love and happiness, they like to keep it real, in your face, and brutally raw.
This hardcore-metal assault band from Italy formed in 2013, as the lead singer and founder Fabio needed a way to expose and take a stand against all the injustices and depravations the modern society brings upon us everyday.
Their debut album, a bunch of neck wrecking tracks, and a lyrical wake up call, called A PEACEFUL MISSION OF WAR, was soon released on the Italian label TO REACT/ INDELIRIUM RECORDS in October 2014. The album had great feedback and reviews from all over the world, bringing KEEP THE PROMISE out on tour around Italy and Europe twice.
They shared the stage with WALLS OF JERICHO, MERAUDER, BRUJERIA, SHAI HULUD, LIFELESS, BROTHERS IN ARMS, NO TURNING BACK, THELL BARRIO, RAW POWER, TAPED, BENEATH THE HORROR, PROVIDENCE, STRENGTH APPROACH, AWAKEN DEMONS, THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY, SLANDER, DESPITE EXILE, DAMNED SPRING FRAGRANTIA, EMBRACE DESTRUCTION.
In April 2018 "Ghosts Revenge" was released, the band's second album for the German label Bleeding Nose Records.
Also this album had great feedback and reviews from all over the world, supported by the video for the single "Please Kill Yourself Now" and many shows in Italy and around Europe!
In June 2022, they released their third album, self-produced and promoted by The Metallist PR, entitled Mass Extinction. The EP received positive reviews throughout Europe and South America and included a cover of a classic Machine Head song. They are currently recording their fourth album, which will be released in late 2026.
